Hinjewadi: Online Prostitution Racket Busted, Four Girls Rescued By Police

Pune, January 15, 2021: An online sex racket was busted by Hinjewadi police which rescued four girls and booked six persons. Three agents are also arrested by police.

The action was taken by Hinjewadi police after getting information about the online sex racket. A website and some mobile numbers were found. Police said that photographs of girls were sent to the customers, who contacted on these numbers. Girls were sent to customer according to the selection. The accused were charging Rs 8 to 20 thousand for it.

The arrested accused has been identified as Jeewan Santosh Tathwade (23), a resident of Chinchwad, who hails from Pimplwadi in Khed taluka, Ramdas Sooanrao Salunkhe (62) of Yerwada and Aniket Chandrakant Bhalerao (26) of Ravet. Four girls who are from Maharashtra, Assam and Bihar were rescued.

Police have also booked Keshav, Rahul and Deepak (Boby) and a search is going on to arrest them.
