HSC 2026: Maharashtra State Board to Declare Class 12 (HSC) Results Tomorrow at 1 PM

Pune, 1st May 2026: Bringing relief to over 15 lakh students and their parents, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Class 12 examination results on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM.

Last year, the HSC results were announced on May 5. This year, the board has advanced the schedule, offering early clarity to students planning their higher education and career paths. The announcement was officially confirmed through a circular issued by State Board Secretary Dr. Deepak Mali.

The Class 12 examinations were conducted between February 10 and March 18 across the state’s nine divisional boards: Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur, and Konkan.

A total of 15,32,487 students from 10,664 schools and junior colleges registered for the examination, marking an increase of around 27,000 candidates compared to last year. Of the registered candidates, 8,20,229 were boys, 7,12,240 were girls, and 18 were transgender students.

Stream-wise, 7,99,773 students appeared from the Science stream, 3,80,692 from Arts, and 3,20,152 from Commerce. Additionally, 27,378 students enrolled in vocational courses, and 4,492 candidates appeared from ITI streams.

Where and How to Check Results Students can access their subject-wise marks online starting at 1:00 PM on May 2. The official websites to check the results are:

Students can take out a printout of their results from these portals. Furthermore, digital mark sheets will be available to download and save via the official DigiLocker App. Junior colleges will also be able to access their institution’s consolidated results via the college login on the mahahsscboard.in portal.

Verification, Photocopies, and Re-evaluation For students wishing to apply for marks verification or to obtain a photocopy of their answer sheets, the online application window will be open from Sunday, May 3, to Sunday, May 17, 2026. Applications can be submitted independently or through respective junior colleges via https://mahahsscboard.in. Fees can be paid online using Debit/Credit Cards, UPI, or Net Banking.

The board has clarified that obtaining a photocopy of the answer sheet is mandatory for students wishing to apply for re-evaluation. Once the photocopy is received, students will have five working days to submit their online re-evaluation applications to their respective divisional boards.

Class Improvement and Supplementary Exams Students who pass the February-March 2026 examinations but wish to improve their scores will be given three consecutive opportunities under the Class Improvement Scheme. These attempts will be available during the June-July 2026, February-March 2027, and June-July 2027 exam sessions.

The application dates and schedule for the upcoming June-July 2026 supplementary exams will be issued by the board in a separate circular.

Strict Anti-Malpractice Measures To curb malpractice during the examination period, the State Board implemented stringent security protocols. The installation of CCTV cameras was made mandatory at all examination centres. At 172 centres where CCTV facilities were unavailable, the appointed staff was entirely replaced. Furthermore, the board deployed 271 flying squads, along with extensive police security and stationary monitoring teams, ensuring the smooth and fair conduct of the examinations.

Students are advised to keep their roll numbers and mothers’ names ready to quickly access their scores tomorrow.
