HSC students Re-examination for to be held in July

Mumbai/Pune  – Following the SSC re-examination pattern, the state government has decided to conduct HSC re-examination in the month of July and August from upcoming academic year instead of October.

Earlier SSC and HSC re-examinations for failed students were conducted by the education board in the month of October. While the Education ministry has rescheduled the program for October SSC exam in the month of July and August.

Meanwhile, on Monday, the government has also decided to reschedule the HSC re-examination from 2016-17 academic year.

According to the government sources, the Education Minister of Maharashtra Vinod Tavade has given his nod to the proposal.

In a statement, Tavade said that, the decision will certainly help these students who will be appearing for the re-examination in July and August as it will give them an opportunity to get back into the main flow.

Earlier we have implemented the similar pattern for SSC students in 2015 that helped many students as their academic year was secured. Therefore, It will also help HSC students as the same pattern is now also applicable them, he added.

According to the statistics, 57,517 SSC students had secured their seat in re-examination that was held in August 2015, the education department officials said.
