ICAI MSME Yatra: 75 Days, 75 Cities And 75 Programs On Promoting Entrepreneurship On Backdrop Of ‘Azadi Ka Amritmahotsav’
Pune, 17th August 2022: The institute of chartered accounts (ICAI) has organized nationwide ‘ICAI MSME SETU’ and ‘ICAI MSME YATRA’ under the backdrop of ‘Azadi Ka Amritmahotsav’ for promoting entrepreneurship. Under these events, 75 programs to promote entrepreneurship in 75 days and 75 cities are planned. This ‘ICAI MSME YATRA’ is reaching Pune and the PCMC area this Friday, 19th August.
The Pune and PCMC chapter of ICAI along with the MCCIA local chapter will welcome this Yatra consisting of a chariot, which has been coordinated by the office bearers of ICAI. A chariot exhibiting various efforts to promote entrepreneurship in the micro, small, and medium industries will roam around the city as a part of this Yatra. Various programs have been organized at the Bhosari branch of MCCIA, J-462, Telco road, Opposite quality circle, Ganesh Nagar, Bhosari, Pune, informed CA Shri Chandrashekhar Chitale, a member of the central committee, ICAI.
It is noteworthy that being a key factor in the growth engine, ICAI put into keen efforts to take entrepreneurship to the next level. This is not only for the professional development of CAs but for the overall growth of the MSME sector.
CA Chitale said, “CA’s are playing a very important role between various stakeholders and MSME. They work as the quick response team for the needs of MSME. ‘MSME SETU’ and ‘MSME YATRA’ are organized to promote MSME. We have also organized ‘MSME Clinic’ consisting of representatives from the MSME ministry, Govt. of India, Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), and senior bank officers, officers from the district industries center and CA’s. Free Udyam Registration will be offered for visitors.”
Representatives from various organizations, regional units, local chambers, industries associations, and MSME centers are requested to visit and attend various programs organized on 19th August by Pune and the PCMC chapter of ICAI. In a program of awareness, MSME experts will guide on various topics like funding, finance, and subsidy, institutional framework, incentives, various schemes of central and state Govt., the role of CA, and import-export.
