If You Support Killer Of Gandhi Then Join BJP Else Join Congress To Save The Country: Kanhaiya Kumar

Pune, 9th December 2021: “The onus is now on the common man to save Indian democracy, which has gained worldwide notoriety. The history of struggle is old for us and the fight against those who work against democracy will continue forever. The character of the Congress is the character of the country. Those who believe should join the Congress to save the country, while those who support those who killed Gandhi should join the Bharatiya Janata Party,” appealed Congress youth leader Kanhaiya Kumar.
Kanhaiya Kumar was speaking at the Lokshahi Bachao Sabha after the Service-Duty-Sacrifice Week organized on the occasion of the birthday of All India Congress Party MP Sonia Gandhi.
Maharashtra State Revenue Minister Balasaheb Thorat, Medical Education Minister Amit Deshmukh, Maharashtra Youth Congress President Satyajit Tambe, Coordinator Mohan Joshi, City President Ramesh Bagwe, Senior Leader Ulhasdada Pawar, Former Minister Balasaheb Shivarkar, Former MLA Deepti Chaudhari, State Committee members Abhay Chhajed, Rohit Tilak, Sanjay Balgude, Virendra Kirad, Former Mayor Kamal Vyavahare, Corporator Datta Bhairat, Aba Bagul, Lata Rajguru, Ravindra Dhangekar, Avinash Bagwe, Sujata Shetty, Prashant Surase, Adv. Nilesh Borate were also present.
Kanhaiya Kumar said, “Congress does not need me, I need Congress. Congress is a party rooted in the minds of the people. The history of the country has been read from the bottom of our hearts. The Congress has always been at the forefront of saving BSNL, Railways, Air India. The BJP has not given anything to the country, so they are only privatizing and selling these things. Narendra Modi is working to make the country’s entrepreneurs bigger in the name of the country.”
“It is the duty of the government to solve the problems of the country. No issue is being discussed in Parliament. How come if one questions the Prime Minister becomes a traitor?” Kanhaiya Kumar asked.
Balasaheb Thorat said, “Right to employment, food security, health, education, etc. was done during the Congress period. Decisions were taken in the interest of the country and society under the leadership of Sonia Gandhi and Dr Manmohan Singh. Therefore, it is time to defend democracy. Monopoly is dangerous for democracy. The practice of slandering people in the Opposition through social media, using government machinery to pressure and embezzle has intensified now. As a result, democratic values are losing ground. The Congress needs to be brought back to power to protect itself. It is our duty to save democracy, the Indian Constitution. They are attacking the farmers, their movement.”
In his introduction, Mohan Joshi said, “For the last 17 years, various social activities have been carried out through Sonia Gandhi’s birthday service-sacrifice week. Pune gave a lot to BJP. But BJP did not repay it well. The BJP’s corruption is hurting the country. If this is to be stopped, then the ideology of the Congress is the only solution.”
Congress Pune City President Ramesh Bagwe welcomed the gathering. The meeting began with a tribute to Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat and others who died in a helicopter crash yesterday.
