IIT Madras Issues Admission Notification For MA Courses; Check Details Here To Apply
Chennai, 19th March 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) has released an official announcement regarding admission to the university’s two-year master’s programmes (MA).
Candidates with a valid GATE score may apply using the MTech and MA Admission Portal at mtechadm.iitm.ac.in.
The new Master’s Program spanning the three streams was announced by IIT Madras.

The deadline for applying is April 7, and the application process began on March 18.
To qualify for the MA degree, students must finish a minimum of 200 credits. There will be 25 seats available for Indian students in each stream, with extra seats available for international students.
According to IIT Madras, the students in each stream will have the option of advancing to the PhD programme following Institute policies.
