Pune, January 5, 2021: Important news for candidates preparing for National Cadet Corps (NCC) Special Entry in the Indian Army. An advertisement has been issued by the Army for the 49th course starting in April 2021 in NCC Special Entry.

Candidates wishing to apply for NCC entry in the army can apply through the online application form provided on the Indian Army Recruitment Portal, joinindianarmy.nic.in. Candidates should note that the last date of application is 28 January 2021.

Who Can Apply?

Only those candidates who have passed the degree with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognised university can apply for the application for NCC Special Entry 2021 in the Indian Army; also, must have passed C certificate of NCC with a minimum B grade. Additionally, on 1 January 2021, the age of the candidate should neither be less than 19 years nor more than 25 years.

How to Apply?

Candidates wishing to apply for NCC Special Entry 2021 in the Army, after visiting the recruitment portal of the Indian Army, can click on the link for new registration. Candidates can then complete the registration phase by filling and submitting the information sought. After this, the candidates may log in through their user name and password and submit their application.

Here’s How the Selection Process Will Work:

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the performance of the candidates in two phases of SSB. After the shortlisting of the applications of the candidates, they will be invited for the SSB to be conducted in two stages at the selection centers at Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bangalore, and Kapurthala. The candidates declared successful in the first phase will be included in the second phase.
