Infants FC, Aryans ‘B’ score facile wins
Pune, 12th May 2023: Infants Elite F.C and Aryans S.C ‘B’ had an easy day out with facile wins over their respective opponents In the inaugural Aspire Cup 2023 (Second-Third Division) Football Tournament, at the Dr. Hedgewar ground, Pimpri here on Friday.
The tournament is being played under the aegis of the Poona District Football Association (PDFA) and organised by Aspire India.
First up, Infants Elite F.C put an end to the hopes of SAI F.C 2-0. Samuel Daniel (17th) put Infants Elite F.C in the lead, which later was doubled by Syed Talha (24th) which remained the order of the day.
Later, Aryans S.C ‘B took full advantage of the misfiring Sukai F.C and posted 3-0 victory to advance into the pre quarterfinals.
Abhishek Ghodke (7th) opened the account to push SAI F.C on the backfoot.
Aryans shifted gears and added two in the second half with Omkar Rane (44th) and Shreyash Raut (48th) adding goals in a span of four minute.
