Iran-Israel Conflict: Air India has suspended flights to Israel; flights from Delhi to Tel Aviv will not operate.

New Delhi, 14th April 2024: Amidst the escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, the Indian Government has taken a significant decision to temporarily suspend all Air India flights to Tel Aviv. On Sunday, a Senior Government Official informed that direct flights between Delhi and Tel Aviv will remain suspended for the time being.

In fact, Air India operates four flights weekly between Delhi and Tel Aviv. The Tata Group-owned Air India had resumed its services to Tel Aviv on March 3, after nearly five months. However, amidst the escalating tensions between the two countries, this decision has been taken once again. After the Hamas attack on Israel, Air India had suspended all its flights to Tel Aviv from October 7, 2023.
