Karad: 4 Killed, 1 Injured In A Car Accident On Pune-Bengaluru National Highway
Satara, February 7, 2021: Four persons died and one seriously injured in a head-on collision between a speeding car and another vehicle on the Pune-Bengaluru National Highway at Wahagaon (Tal. Karad).
A car from Kolhapur was speeding towards Pune. At around 1.30 pm, the driver lost control of the car after it reached near Wahagaon. It jumped the divider and collided head-on with a vehicle coming from the opposite direction.
Three people died on the spot, while another died on the way to the hospital and one person was seriously injured.
After the collision, none of the passengers from the car was able to get out of it. And it was also difficult for police to take them out of the mangled card.
