Mahabaleshwar, Panchgani Now Open For Tourists, Know These Rules Before You Plan To Visit

Satara, 20th June 2021: From Saturday, Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani have been opened for tourism by imposing some rules and conditions for tourists.
Tourists will have to undergo a rapid antigen test (RAT) for Coronavirus disease (COVID19) at Dandeghar Naka, ahead of Panchgani. If they test negative then only they will be allowed to go to Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani. Also, hotel owners have to get their employees tested for COVID (through RAT) every 10 days.
The lockdown in the Satara district has been relaxed since Saturday (June 19). Satara District Collector has taken this decision due to a drop in COVID cases.
Know what is allowed, not allowed in Satara district to open
- All shops have been ordered to open from 9 am to 4 pm, while restaurants have been allowed to open till 4 pm with 50 per cent seating capacity.
- Permission to provide home delivery service till 8 pm
- Agriculture and agro-based establishments started
- Organization meetings allowed with 50 per cent capacity
- Gyms can open with 50 per cent capacity
- Film shooting allowed but only in the biobubble
- Playgrounds, games allowed but competitions cannot be organised
- Religious places closed, restrictions on events
- Buses allowed to run with full capacity
- Rs 500 fine for not wearing mask
- Maximum 25 people allowed in marriage ceremony
- Maximum 20 people allowed for funeral
