Wai: Two foreigners arrested for storing drugs in a bungalow

Wai (Satara), February 16, 2021: Two foreigners have been arrested by the police for allegedly storing drugs in a bungalow at Nandanvan Park in Wai on Monday night.

Police received information that a foreign national was living in a row house in Nandanvan Park in Yashwant Nagar area of Wai. Police Inspector Anandrao Khobre raided the house and found a large stock of drugs in the house.

The cops informed Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar Bansal and Deputy Superintendent of Police Dheeraj Patil about the incident. Satara police are investigating the case since Monday night.

Police are also searching for the accomplices of these foreign nationals. Forensic experts from Pune have been called to Wai for more information.
