Katraj Matka King Shot Dead In Shirwal, Satara Police Begins Investigation
Satara, 21st February 2022: Subhash Patole (36), a resident of Bibwewadi in Pune, and called the ‘Matka king’ of Katraj, has been shot dead.
The incident took place on the terrace of Lake Palace in Shirwal in Khandala Taluka of Satara district around 6 pm on Sunday. Police have nabbed a suspect.
According to the police, Patole was known as the Matka (gambling) king. He had left his house in Pune at 7 am on Sunday for some work. There was another person with him.
A woman saw him lying in a pool of blood on the terrace of Lake Palace and informed her husband who called the police. Patole was identified with the help of his Aadhar card.
