Khadki: 10 new COVID cases reported today, 17 discharged

Khadki, 10 Aug, 2020: With 10 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) cases today, the total tally of positive patients reached 808 in the Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) area. Out of 808, a total of 583 people have been cured while 26 have died.

 

According to KCB, there are still 199 active patients undergoing treatment. 58 of them are admitted to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Cantonment General Hospital in Khadki, while others are admitted in different hospitals in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. There are 194 people under home quarantine while 1818 have completed the quarantine period.

 

Across Maharashtra, 3,58,421 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.44%. As of today, there are 1,47,735 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 68.33% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.44%. Currently, 10,01,268 people are in home quarantine and 35,521 people are in institutional quarantine. Out of 27,73,520 laboratory samples, 5,24,513 have been tested positive (18.91%) for COVID-19 until today.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 2,215,074 across the country. Out of this, 1,535,743 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 44,386 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 634,945 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
