Landscape Garden Being Constructed Over 5.5 Acres Land In Pimple Nilakh

Pimple Nilakh, February 17, 2021: A state of art garden is under construction in Pimple Nilakh which adjoins Aundh, Baner and Pimpri-Chinchwad area on the bank of Mula river. The garden is named after Ashok Kamate who was martyred during the 26/11 Mumbai attack.

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has assigned a private firm to develop the garden which will be one of its kind in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad.

The garden will be opened to the public in the coming few days.  It has been developed on two sides of the road with the left side spread over four acres of land while the right side on 1.5 acres of land. The left side will have gardens and plants while on the right it will have a traditional gymnasium and open gym.

The garden has been developed with a budget of Rs four crores. It will have play equipment for Children, dedicated space for Senior Citizens besides having Amphi Theatre,  Entrance Plaza, Pergola, Central Park, Miyawaki forest, keyboard and many other modern designs.
