Dogs may bite due to fear, territorial instincts, pain, maternal instincts, or lack of socialization. Bites can cause physical injuries, infections, and emotional trauma. Preventive measures include socialization, training, supervision, and recognizing warning signs. Medication and professional help, including consulting a veterinarian and seeking behavioural training, are crucial. Legal responsibilities demand owners address aggressive behaviour to ensure safety.
