Pune, 5th November, 2025: JN Petit Technical School proved to be mighty strong winning all their matches, while The Kalyani School eased through their matches on Day-2 of the Loyola Football Cup 2025, powered by Tata Autocomp, at the Loyola H.S ground, Pashan, here on Wednesday.

In the opening match, JN Petit had an easy run against Hume McHenry and won by a huge 10-0 margin. The mainstay of the JN Petit victory was a four-goal effort by Daksh Pillay (4’, 15’, 35’, 52’), who missed his hat-trick by a whisker.

Daksh’s goal was complemented by a goal each by Hiten Shendge (5’), Danish Gonal (25’), Siddharth Jagdale (32’), Neel Wagh (38’), Rugved Ghule (49’) and Parth Sonawane (55’).

Later, in the under-14 section, JN Petit pushed a 6-0 scoreline over Hume McHenry. The win also had another four-goal effort by Adhiraj Biranje (26′, 36′, 39′, 50′). The effort of Adhraj was after Tanvish Khairnar (3′, 41′) scoring a brace of goals.

JN Petit completed their three wins, when their Under-12s put a 2-0 win over Hume McHenry. Both goals were scored by Ata Shaikh (27′) and Agastya Barde (34′) which completed the rout.

In the other set of matches involving The Kalyani School and Infant Jesus School all three victories went The Kalyani School’s way.

In the under-12 section, The Kalyani School disposed Infant Jesus School 2-0. The first goals of the game was netted by Advaith Chanashetti (25’) who later netted his second two minutes (27’) later during the game.

In the early evening session, The Kalyani School won a 5-2 thriller against Infant Jesus School to win the Under-14 section. The Kalyani School found Vidit Ghogre (5’) and Viraaj Chachondia (8’) give them the advantage.

Infant Jesus pulled one-back when Stephen Kumar (16’) scored.

The Kalyani School added two-more when Vihaan Shah (36’, 50’) struck and open the field for their team. Fighting back, Infant Jesus School reduced the margin when Stephen Kumar (46’) scored his second goal.

Leading the game, The Kalyani School added the final goal when Ruhaan Budhopadhya (48’) completed the tally.
