Pune, 12th April 2024: Lubrizol, a renowned leader in specialty chemicals, has proudly unveiled its latest endeavor, the Global Capability Center (GCC), situated in Pune, India. This strategic establishment aims to expedite Lubrizol’s regional growth while fostering enhanced collaboration among its clientele and workforce. Leveraging local talent, the center endeavors to propel success across numerous markets and industries it serves, both regionally and globally.
The Lubrizol GCC finds its home within the Embassy Tech Zone, Hinjewadi, forming part of a cutting-edge facility. Designed with a focus on sustainability and employee well-being, the campus boasts prestigious certifications such as WELL and LEED Gold. Spanning 42,000 square feet, the facility offers a thoughtfully crafted workspace complemented by wellness rooms, recreational areas, and training facilities, all bathed in natural light. Notably, a customer experience center stands as a testament to Lubrizol’s scientific prowess. With plans to onboard over 200 regional employees in the coming year, the GCC aims to house professionals from diverse functions including Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR.

In 2023, Lubrizol announced a significant investment exceeding 150 million USD, earmarked for various initiatives including the establishment of the world’s largest CPVC resin plant in Vilayat, Gujarat, and expansion projects in Dahej, Gujarat.
