Maharashtra: 410 Girls Got Jobs In Tata Group With Amazing Effort Of Assistant Collector

Mumbai, 18th September 2022: More than 400 girls from rural areas of Nanded district in Maharashtra have got jobs in Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) under an initiative of the district administration. These girls have recently passed the 12th examination. It was initiated by Nanded Assistant Collector and Sub Divisional Officer (Kinwat) Kirtikiran Pujar.

 

Pujar is also the head of the Integrated Tribal Project in the Kinwat region of Nanded in Marathwada. “The bureaucracy and the corporate world have come together to provide employment to 410 girls. They were selected during a talent drive in Kinwat,” said a district official.

 

Kinwat is a tribal area. The official said Pujar approached TEPL and the company’s human resources department agreed to his proposal. After which the camp was organized on 6th and 7th September. He said that at least 600 girls who recently passed the 12th class examination participated in this campaign. Out of these 410 were selected. The selected girls will work in TEPL’s manufacturing unit at Hosur in the neighbouring state of Karnataka. The official said that they will have to first complete their training in Bengaluru.

 

Rajaram Madavi, a resident of Talagudapara village, is today proud of his daughter’s job. Madavi said, “People of our generation have never stepped out of the tehsil. But thanks to the initiative of the district administration, my daughter is getting an opportunity to go to Bengaluru and that too for a job.”

 

Sheetal Bhise of Vashi village of Himayatnagar is also very happy to get the job. She said, “Girls like me want to do something for their families, but we need an opportunity to do so. I have got this opportunity with the help of the Integrated Development Project and officials of TEPL. I will also pursue further studies while working. I’ll do it.”
