Mumbai, 22nd May 2025: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has officially declared the schedule for the SSC and HSC supplementary exams, with Board Secretary Devidas Kulal confirming the details via a press release. The HSC (Class 12) supplementary written exams will be held from 24th June to 16th July, while the SSC (Class 10) supplementary written exams are scheduled between 24th June and 8th July.
The Board released HSC results on 5th May and SSC results on 13th May. The supplementary exams are meant to offer a fresh opportunity to students who failed, received ATKT (Allowed to Keep Term), or wish to improve their grades. Traditionally, supplementary exams were held in July-August, but this year the schedule has been advanced.
According to Kulal, “The detailed timetable is available on the official website https://www.mahahsscboard.in/. However, this online schedule is for information only. The final, official timetable will be distributed to schools and junior colleges in printed form before exams begin. Students are advised to confirm their exam dates strictly from these printed schedules.” He further clarified that timetables published on other websites, by other agencies, or through other media should not be considered official or relied upon.
In addition to written exams, the Board has outlined that practical, oral, internal assessment, and vocational course practicals for HSC will be conducted between 24th June and 11th July. For Class 12, the online exams for Information Technology and General Knowledge will take place on 15th June and 16th July, respectively. SSC practicals, orals, and internal assessments will be held from 24th June to 8th July.
The Board’s announcement aims to streamline the supplementary exam process and ensure clarity for students across Maharashtra.
