Pune, 4th February 2025: The Maharashtra government has taken stringent measures to ensure copy-free 10th (SSC) and 12th (HSC) board exams this year. Sensitive examination centres will be monitored by drones to prevent mass copying or external interference. A day before the exams, authorities will ensure that examination centres meet the required physical infrastructure standards. Additionally, facial recognition technology will be used to verify the identities of center directors, supervisors, and other exam-related personnel.

To maintain the integrity of the exams, Xerox shops within 500 meters of examination centres will remain closed during the exam period. Furthermore, prohibitory orders around exam centres to prevent any malpractice.

The Maharashtra Prevention of Malpractices Act, 1982 will be strictly implemented. Any individuals found facilitating, encouraging, or engaging in exam malpractices will face cognizable and non-bailable offences.

With these new measures in place, the Maharashtra government aims to ensure a fair and transparent examination process for students across the state.
