This bus service is important to make the public transport facility pollution-free. Public transport has been helpful in the PMRDA area. PMPML bus services have reached Pune city, Pimpri Chinchwad, along with the villages included in the metropolis and other villages in the rural areas.

Traffic jams in the metropolis will be a big problem in the coming times. Therefore, enabling and facilitating the transport system can be an effective solution. For that, emphasis will be placed on expanding the e-bus service in the coming time, the CM said. Shinde said that the government is speeding up various projects in the state.

Dr Mahendranath Pandey said, “Congratulations to PMPML for starting the e-bus service.” Dr Pandey also said, “The objective of the grant under FAME 2 is to promote the use of green energy and reduce carbon emissions – this will help to identify as a developed country. This facility is important for maintaining the good health of citizens by reducing pollution. It is a matter of pride that the city of Pune has taken the first step towards e-mobility.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has emphasized the deployment of carbon emissions in the country by 2030 under the Panchamrit concept. In the country’s economy, emphasis is also being placed on reducing dependence on carbon. This will be an important step toward green energy and the economic prosperity of the country. Maharashtra is an important contribution to achieving this goal. The subsidy is being given for improvement in this regard in the auto industry as well.

The response of entrepreneurs in this sector is also encouraging. 75 thousand crores of new investment have been made in this sector in the post-Corona period in the country. He also said that the central government is trying to reduce the dependence on China in the field of electric batteries.

Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis said that an integrated transport system will be established for Pune city shortly by expanding the metro. For this, the effective use of the public transport system will be determined by integrating various types of apps and e-platforms. Through the e-bus service, the Maharashtra government will bring radical changes to the public transport system.

PMPML will emerge as the leading non-conventional energy service in the country. Citizens of Pune appreciate the service. These buses have completed the milestone of 2 crore kilometres of transport. As the central government provided large subsidies for e-buses under FAME 2, there was no additional burden on the people. This will be the first non-conventional energy and zero carbon emission bus service in the country.
