Maharashtra COVID report: 11,813 new cases, 413 deaths today
Mumbai, Aug 13, 2020: A total of 9,115 patients were discharged and 11,813 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra while 2392 new cases were reported in Pune today. Today, 413 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.4%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 5,60,126 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.
According to the health department, 3,90,958 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 3.4%. As of today, there are 1,49,798 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 69.8% while the fatality rate in the state is 3.4%. Currently, 10,25,660 people are in home quarantine and 36,450 people are in institutional quarantine.
Out of 29,76,090 laboratory samples, 5,60,126 have been tested positive (18.82%) for COVID-19 until today.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 23,96,637 across the country. Out of this, 16,95,982 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 47,033 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 6,53,622 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
