Maharashtra: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Launches Statewide Campaign “Darkness to Light”

Aurangabad/Pune, January 23, 2021: Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) has launched a 10-days campaign in Maharashtra called ‘Darkness to Light’.
Rizwanur Rahman Khan, President of JIH Maharashtra, said, “The COVID-19 Pandemic has opened the eyes of materialistic people. It is likely to change their existing belief systems and they will realise that life means much more than amassing wealth and fulfilling material goals. After all, there is no pleasure without conscience and compassion.”
Renowned Warkari spiritual preacher, Nivrutti Maharaj, in an interview at Aurangabad, observed, “During the corona pandemic, many atheists tried to run their agenda of spreading atheism. This campaign by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind can counter all such ant spiritual cults.”
Kisan protest supporter & owner of VOM news channel (USA), Meghraj Singh Khalsa averred that such a campaign can only be conceptualized and executed by an organization as full of life as Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.
Mohammed Sarni, the convener of the 10-day state-wide campaign, ‘Darkness to Light’ elaborates, “We shall try to reach out to the 11-crore population of Maharashtra- men and women of all castes and religious beliefs- through print, electronic and social media and personally convey the message wherever possible till 31st January 2021.”
