Jalna, 2nd November 2023: In the ongoing battle for Maratha reservation, Manoj Jarange Patil has decided to extend the deadline for the government to take action. He has granted the government time until January 2, effectively withdrawing his hunger strike during the second phase.

Emphasizing the urgency of the situation, Jarange Patil remarked that the given time is the last opportunity for the government to address the Maratha reservation issue. He urged his supporters to prepare for the next phase of their struggle. The new deadline, set for January 2, is non-negotiable, and he cautioned that further protests would escalate if the government fails to act by then.

Jarange Patil had firmly opposed any extension beyond December 24. However, the government delegation eventually persuaded him to grant a two-month extension, leading to the hunger strike’s conclusion.
