Maharashtra: MPSC Candidates To Appear For Exam Wearing PPE Kit If They Have COVID Symptoms

Pune, 20th March 2021:The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has emphasized the safety of the candidates and the staff at the examination centre. For this, MPSC has issued a circular regarding the working procedure at the examination centre.

In this circular, the commission mentioned that candidates with symptoms will be provided personal protection equipment (PPE) kit.  They will also have separate seating arrangements. Candidates will be given three-layer masks, sanitiser and gloves by the commission. Candidates are required to clean their hands with a sterile solution during the examination period.

The MPSC will provide PPE kits to candidates with corona-like symptoms during the pre-service examination. Therefore, candidates will not miss the opportunity of examination. It has also been made clear that it is mandatory to use a mask, sanitiser and gloves and maintain a safe distance at the examination centre.

According to the circular, candidates will not be able to go outside the examination centre as there are two papers for the pre-service examination. Candidates are also prohibited from using each other’s educational materials. The commission has also instructed to put the used mask, sterile solution, PPE kit in the covered bin kept at the centre after the end of the examination. If there are corona-like symptoms like fever, cold, cough, it is mandatory to inform the officials at the examination centre.
