Maharashtra Reports Highest 47,827 COVID Cases In A Day

Mumbai, 2 April, 2021: A total of 24,126 patients were discharged and 47,827 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 202 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 1.91%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 29,04,076 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

According to the health department, 24,57,494 patients have been cured while the Case fatality rate in the state is 1.91%. As of today, there are 3,89,832 active cases in the state. The recovery rate in the state is 84.62% while the fatality rate in the state is 1.91%. Currently, 21,01,999 people are in home quarantine and 19,237 people are in institutional quarantine

Out of 2,01,58,719 laboratory samples 29,04,076 have been tested positive (14.41%) for COVID-19 until today.
