Maharashtra: SET Examination In December?

Pune, September 24, 2020: State Eligibility Test (SET) required for assistant professors in colleges will be held in December. The examination was scheduled on June 28 but due to COVID pandemic, it did not take place. Similarly, the new academic year will be starting from November 1 and thus it is likely that the SET examination will be held in December, said the officials.

Over one lakh candidates had filled the application for the examination. But it was postponed owing to Covid-19 and no exact date was declared leading to confusion among the candidates.

The SET examination is conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University for Maharashtra and Goa states. By December the classrooms to conduct the examination will be available and thus it is very likely to take place in December, said the officials.
