Pune, April 3, 2021: The Maharashtra State CET Cell has not yet issued any notification regarding the MBA entrance exams in Maharashtra which are usually held in February or March every year. The students are awaiting the official notification confirming the dates. However, due to the delay in the results of the undergraduate degree examinations, the dates for the MBA examination are also expected to be delayed.

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the universities had to postpone the undergraduate degree exams. Therefore, the results of these exams were delayed as well. As a result, the MBA-MMS CET held every year in March for MBA admission has been delayed this year.

Meanwhile, last year’s MBA entrance exams were held on March 14 and 15 at 148 centres across the State. Around 1,10,631 students appeared for the examination. Through which, 3700 seats for MBA courses have been filled in colleges under the jurisdiction of the Directorate of Technical Education. Students are waiting to get admission after the results of CET were announced last year.

The date for the MHT-CET entrance exam, which is required for the first year admission of students in Engineering, Pharmacology, and Agriculture degree, has not been announced yet. The schedule for the examination is usually published in April every year. Students prepare for the CET accordingly. However, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the students are still waiting for this year’s date for the CET entrance examination.
