Major Accident On Pune-Bengaluru Highway Near Karad, Three Including A Policeman Killed
Karad 14th Oct 2023: In a terrifying incident on the Pune-Bengaluru National Highway near Karad, a speeding truck collided with a stationary container resulting in a ghastly accident. The collision was so severe that the truck was completely mangled. In this accident, three individuals in the truck miraculously survived while the driver and two passengers lost their lives. Among the deceased, a police constable from the Kolhapur Police Force, Nitin Pawar and civilians Manisha Appasaheb Jadhav and Abhishek Appasaheb Jadhav tragically lost their lives.
According to the officials, the accident was reported due to mechanical issues in the container. The truck coming towards Pune rammed into the stationary container with tremendous force, leading to this devastating accident.
The impact was so intense that the truck was completely wrecked in the accident, leaving the survivors incredibly lucky to have escaped the tragedy. This incident has prompted a deep sense of shock and sorrow among the locals and the loss of lives has left the community grieving.
