Pune, 30th April 2025: The Pune division of Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has urged homebuyers and developers not to execute any flat sale agreement without verifying the digital signature of the Deputy Chief Officer. MHADA has warned that legal action will be taken against any developer or individual found violating this directive.

MHADA clarified that, for all lotteries conducted before October 2023, unsold flats under the 15% social housing and 20% inclusive scheme are now being distributed to eligible beneficiaries on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Registration and allocation for these flats must be done through the official website https://bookmyhome.mhada.gov.in/.

The authority emphasised that no agency or individual has been appointed as an intermediary for this process, and citizens are advised not to fall for any fraudulent offers or middlemen. The entire flat distribution process is fully online and transparent. All allotment letters are issued digitally with the Deputy Chief Officer’s digital signature, and are made available in the beneficiary’s login ID. No allotment letter is issued in handwritten form or with a rubber stamp, according to Deputy Chief Officer Atul Khode.
