Miss International India 2023 Kashish Methwani Visits Her Alma Mater Army Public School Pune

Pune, 14th September 2022: Army Public School (APS), Pune welcomed its proud alumnus Miss International India 2023 Kashish Methwani , during a warm home coming ceremony on 12 th September 2022, in the school premises. Kashish was welcomed with a triumphant march by the NCC cadets.

 

The ceremony commenced with the felicitation of Kashish by the Principal, Mrs Anita Sharma. It was an honour for the fraternity to welcome Kashish who, with her skills and diligence has set an example and outlined a road map to success for all aspiring to-be achievers. Teachers who were part of her journey of school life from class 1 to 12 spoke about how she had been an amalgamation of dedication, compassion and hard work, which helped to reach where she stood today. Kashish’s resolve to win the crown began right from her childhood when she saw various beauty pageants being aired.

Kashish addressed the students and shared with them her mantra for success and emphasized that it is important to remember that only determination, hard work and passion would make one achieve their dreams because the universe roots for those who have a purpose to fulfil. She said, “It has always been my dream to be more than just my name, to be called India. It still hasn’t sunk in that the dream has now become a reality. I know it’s a huge responsibility and I promise to give my absolute best and make my country proud.” In the interactive session she kept the audience captivated with her impressive demeanor.

Kashish won the All India Best Cadet Trophy in 2021 (NCC – Air Wing) and was felicitated by PM Shri Narendra Modi on Republic Day. She is multi talented being a national level pistol shooter, ardent debater, Bharatnatyam dancer and a passionate Tabla player among others. She is also the founder of an NGO ‘Team Critical Cause’ which during the pandemic was actively involved in spreading awareness about plasma and organ donation. She will be representing India in Japan at the International level next year.
