MPSC State Services Main Exam 2025 to Be Held from March 29 to April 26
Pune, 4th March 2026: The State Services Main Examination 2025 will be conducted from March 29 to April 26, 2026, the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) announced after declaring the results of the Preliminary Examination on February 27. The announcement marks the transition to the next phase of recruitment for 139 gazetted posts across various state government departments.
Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary round are now eligible to apply for the Main Examination. The Commission has uploaded the detailed examination timetable on its official website.
Qualified candidates must complete the online application process and pay the prescribed examination fee by March 14, 2026 (11:59 pm).
For those opting to pay via challan through the State Bank of India:
-Last date to generate challan copy: March 16, 2026 (11:59 pm)
-Final date for fee payment at SBI branches: March 17, 2026 (during banking hours)
The Commission has advised applicants to carefully review the eligibility criteria and instructions mentioned in the official notification before submitting their forms.

The notification for the Maharashtra Civil Services Gazetted Combined Preliminary Examination 2025 was initially issued on March 18, 2025, following requisitions received from various state departments.
