Nashik: 20 Electric Scooters Burnt To Ashes In Biggest EV Fire In India
Nashik, 12th April 2022: In the biggest EV fire in India, 20 scooters of Jitendra EV caught fire near Nashik in a transport container on Saturday (April 9). The company has launched an investigation.
There were 40 scooters in the truck and 20 of them were gutted in the fire. The incident took place near Pathardi Fata.
“An unfortunate incident took place on April 9 near our factory gate. The situation was immediately brought under control by our team’s timely intervention. Safety being of prime importance, we are investigating the root cause and will soon come out with the findings,” said a spokesperson for the company.
