Neelam Seolekar Is The Chairperson Of FICCI FLO Pune Chapter
Pune, 7th April 2022: Neelam Seolekar has taken over as Chairperson of the FICCI Ladies Organization (FLO), Pune Chapter 2022/23.
Granddaughter of Pune’s very own Shri Baburao Sanas , Daughter of Shri Bala Saheb Sanas , the soul behind ‘The O Hotel’ Pune and Goa, and a mentor @ ‘The Oxford Golf Resort’.
She has received multiple awards like “Women’s Achiever Award” from the Indian Medical Association, the “Human Achievers Foundation Award” to list a few. She has an avid interest in arts.
Commenting on her plans for the upcoming year Neelam Seolekar said, “My intent is to introduce FLO Pune Chapter as a dominant voice for women in business and profession and be platform from those who can come forward to extend help to those who need it, be a catalyst in giving a right direction to their lives by providing necessary skills.”
“In sync with our National President’s Jayanti Dalmia’s vision for the year 2022-23, my focus this year will be to enhance the economic advancement, to introduce financial independence and progress among the women and to protect the long-term value of our environment”, she added.
The FLO Pune Chapter will aim to make an impact in at least some of these areas, by seeing the unseen and taking the ordinary to the extraordinary by empowering women from all strata of life.
Commencement of a model village development project by the end of this month would mark the beginning of the series of initiatives that are planned to be executed in Mrs .Seolekar’s tenure.
The team of office bearers of FLO Pune Chapter that was elected in the recently held AGM includes Neelam Seolekar (Chairperson), Rekha Magar (Senior Vice Chairperson), Pinky Rajpal (Vice Chairperson), Sonya Rau (Treasurer), Poonam Kocchar (Joint Treasurer), Anita Agarwal (Secretary), Sujata Sabnis (Joint Secretary) and Usha Poonawalla (Immediate Past Chairperson).
