Pune MNS Chief Vasant More Removed From Post For Defying Raj Thackeray, More Gets Offer From NCP

Pune, 7th April 2022: After Vasant More openly objected to Raj Thackeray’s statement over loudspeaker row he has been removed from the post of Pune city president of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS). Sainath Babar has been appointed new city president.

More said that he will continue to work with Raj Thackeray and MNS. “I had expressed myself as a public representative. I do not require anybody’s backing neither I want anybody’s support”, he said.

Meanwhile, NCP’s Pune city president Prashant Jagtap said that NCP will welcome Vasant More to the party if he wishes to join. He also offered MNS workers from Pune to join NCP. “More and all other MNS workers will be respected in NCP”, Jagtap said.
