NEET 2020 Result: Exam Result will be released on time – Education Minister, NTA has set October 12 as the result date

New Delhi, October 8, 2020: Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal has said that the result of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (UG) i.e. NEET (UG) 2020 examination will be declared on schedule. The Education Minister said that in view of the delay in starting the new semester, the results will be made available on the due date. The National Examination Agency (NTA), which conducts the NEET-UG 2020 examination, has already announced the release of results on 12 October 2020. Candidates who have appeared in NEET examination for admission in medical undergraduate courses will be able to see their result, scorecard and rank etc. after the information is released on the examination portal “ntaneet.nic.in.”

Earlier, NTA released the official ‘Answer Key’ and question paper for NEET-UG 2020 exam. Also, the agency had invited any objections from candidates regarding the ‘answer key’ till 7 October. NTA will soon release NEET 2020 results as well as NEET 2020 final ‘Answer Key’.

NEET (UG) 2020: More than 13 lakh candidates appeared in the examination held on 13 September

A total of 15.97 lakh candidates had registered for NEET-UG Exam 2020. The examination was announced by the NTA on 13 September. The exam was held at the scheduled time after the petition to delay the exam filed in the Supreme Court was rejected. The petition was filed to adjourn the exam due to the possible transition of a large number of candidates. However, 85-90 per cent of the candidates appeared for the NEET-UG examination.
