NSE Issues Alert on ‘Best Stock Options Trading’ Telegram Channel Collecting Investor Funds
Mumbai, 2nd April 2026: The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) has issued a caution to investors after receiving information about a person allegedly collecting funds through a Telegram channel while promising assured returns from stock market investments.
According to the exchange, a person identified as “Nitin,” associated with a Telegram channel named “Best Stock Options Trading (https://t.me/Best_Stocks_Options_Trading),” has been soliciting funds from investors and offering guaranteed returns in the securities market.
NSE has warned investors not to subscribe to any scheme or product that promises indicative, assured, or guaranteed returns in the stock market, as such practices are prohibited by law.
The exchange also clarified that the individual mentioned is not registered as a Trading Member or an Authorised Person with any registered member of the National Stock Exchange.
Investors have been advised not to share their trading credentials, including user IDs and passwords, with anyone. NSE said that investors should verify the credentials of stock brokers or authorised persons before dealing with them.
To help investors verify registered intermediaries, the exchange has provided a “Know/Locate Your Stock Broker” facility on its website, where details of registered members and their authorised persons are available. The platform also lists designated client bank accounts disclosed by trading members for receiving or paying funds from investors.
The exchange further warned that participation in such unauthorised or prohibited schemes is entirely at the investor’s own risk, as these schemes are neither approved nor endorsed by NSE.
It also clarified that investors who participate in such schemes will not be able to avail benefits under the exchange’s investor protection framework. This includes the exchange’s dispute resolution mechanism and the investor grievance redressal system administered by the exchange.
The advisory has been issued in the interest of protecting investors and preventing financial fraud in the securities market.
