One Died While Two Seriously Injured In Accident On Mumbai-Pune Expressway
Pune, 31st October 2022: One person died on the spot and two others were seriously injured in an accident on the Mumbai Pune Expressway around 9.00 am today (October 31). The accident took place between km 18 in the limits of Rasaani police station when a speeding car hit a truck parked on the side of the road in the lane going from Mumbai towards Pune.
A car collided with a truck standing on the shoulder of Pune lane. A woman in this car died on the spot due to serious injuries while four others were shifted to MGM Hospital for treatment.
As both the vehicles involved in the accident were on the side of the road, there was no traffic congestion. As soon as the information about the incident was known, the Highway Police, IRB and Devdut System went to the spot and took the injured to the hospital for treatment.
