Panthers start with wins At the Poona Club Deccan Gymkhana Super Cricket League 2026
Pune, April 23, 2026: Panthers started their campaign on winning note at the Poona Club Deccan Gymkhana Super Cricket League 2026 organized by Poona Club ltd in association with Deccan Gymkhana and played on Poona Club Cricket Ground.
In a league round encounter, Panthers registered a comfortable 5-wicket win over Jets. Jets, batting first, posted 50/5 in 6 overs, with Chirag Lulla top-scoring with 20 off 9 balls (3 fours, 1 six). Prathamesh Deshmukh (2/3) was the pick of the bowlers, while Kaushal Ana (1/3) and Shrinivas Chaphalkar (1/6) chipped in with a wicket each.
In reply, Panthers chased down the target in just 4.4 overs, scoring 53/3. Arjun Kirrtane remained unbeaten on 17, while Gaurav Chaphalkar (not out 13) and Shrinivas Chaphalkar (10) contributed valuable runs. Neev Navani picked up 1/17 for Jets.
