Pimpri: August 7, 2021: Parents have demanded to that the State Government should declare the list of the schools that have received funds under Right of Children to Free and Compulsory education Act 2009 (RTI).

Apparently, 180 schools in the city have admissions under RTI. “Many schools are denying admissions under RTI citing the reason that they do not get refund from the government”, alleged parent Avinash Vichare.
Majority of times it was seen that the schools deny admissions or create hurdles for admissions under RTI by taking out queries. The schools also demand donations for admissions under RTI.

RTI parent association president Hemant More said, “the government has refunded 35 schools. If the list of these schools is declared, then we can question them”.
