PCMC: 570 New Covid Positive Cases, 08 Deaths Today

Pimpri, 7 October, 2020: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) said that 570 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) patients were reported in PCMC areas today. Also, 664 people got discharged from hospitals while 08 people died today.


According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 81,942 out of which 76,050 have recovered while 1396 have died. 2826 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 418 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 537 have died and 5417 have been cured.


According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 6,757,131 across the country. Out of this, 57,44,693  have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 104,555 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 907,883 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
