PCMC Aims To Vaccinate 25,000 People On Monday, April 5

Pimpri-Chinchwad, 4 April 2021: The Pune administration has decided to vaccinate one lakh people above the age of 45 and in the district on Monday, April 5. Out of one lakh, over 25,000 people will be vaccinated in Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC).

PCMC Commissioner Rajesh Patil said that 80 vaccination centres will be open from 8 am to 8 pm and more than 25,000 people above the age of 45 will be vaccinated. “The super spreaders like shopkeepers, vegetable sellers, drivers, rickshaw drivers, security guards, teachers, lawyers, should get themselves vaccinated. Sufficient stock required for vaccination has been arranged by the administration”, Patil said.

He appealed to the citizens to come for vaccination as the target is to complete vaccination for all eligible people within 30 days. For this, the social organisations should come up to motivate people and bring them to the vaccination centres and coordinate with the administration so the process of vaccination may go smoothly.
