Pimpri: Entrepreneurs And Workers Protest By Planting Trees In Potholes On Bhosari Roads

Pimpri, 26th August 2022: Entrepreneurs and workers of the Bhosari industrial belt planted trees in holes on the road and drew the attention of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation to the growing problem of pits.

The potholes on these roads cause difficulties and dangers to commuters. Taking action into their hands and wanting to make a change, the workers and entrepreneurs got together and planted trees in these potholes to catch the attention of the Pimpri Municipal Corporation (PMC). The protestors pointed out the inferiority of the road repair work, saying that potholes occur at the same place and get worse, especially during the monsoons.

The road was blocked on behalf of the Forum of Small Scale Industries Association under the leadership of its president Abhay Bhor. The trees were then planted in the pits by the people. There are a lot of potholes on the roads in the industrial belt, especially in the T block area, that need to be repaired for the commuters to be able to travel safely.
