Pimpri youth goes Live at 120 km/hr, killed in accident
Pimpri – A 20-year-old engineering student trying to show high speed driving skills live on Instagram, was killed while his cousin brother who was shooting the video was injured, after he lost control over the vehicle.
The accident happened around 5 am on Sunday on the grade separator at Pimpri.
The deceased has been identified as Shivam Prakash Jadhav of Pimpri. His cousin Hrishikesh Vilas Pawar (20) of Chinchwad is undergoing treatment. Shivam is survived by his mother and grandparents. His father died seven years ago.
In the wee hours of Sunday, he had taken away key of his maternal uncle’s car without telling anyone and took along his cousin. To show his friends his driving skills, he asked Hrishikesh to focus on him and the speedometer and go live. He was driving at 120 km/hr and as he increased the speed, he lost balance and hit the divider.
