PMC Demolishes Unauthorised Constructions over 5,600 sq. ft. in Kondhwa
Kondhwa, 6th October 2025: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Construction Department on Monday carried out demolition operations against unauthorised constructions in Kondhwa, removing structures covering approximately 5,600 square feet, including three multi-storey buildings.
The action follows repeated complaints from citizens about illegal buildings being erected in Kondhwa without the necessary approvals. Residents had raised concerns over constructions on small plots of land being sold using fake documents, causing financial losses and defrauding common buyers.
During Monday’s operation, the PMC demolished:
A three-storey building at Laxmi Nagar, Gali No. 8, Survey No. 3, Kondhwa Budruk.
Two two-storey buildings at Maliknagar and Saibaba Nagar, Survey No. 62, Kondhwa Khurd.
The demolition campaign involved 6 labourers, 5 police personnel, 1 JCB, 4 breakers, 2 gas cutters, 5 junior engineers, and 2 deputy engineers, ensuring a coordinated and safe operation.
