PMC Organizes Environmental Awareness Cycle Fair From Pune to Pandharpur

Pune, 17th June 2022: On behalf of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on Saturday (June 18), under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Madhav Jagtap, the Environmental Awareness Cycle fair has been organized from Pune to Pandharpur. Seedlings will be planted at various places on the way. Similarly, citizens will be encouraged to use bicycles with the slogans “Clean Pune, Beautiful Pune”.

The participants will leave on Saturday morning and will cover the area of 230 km in one day with a bicycle to reach Pandharpur whereas on Sunday again they will return to Pune by covering the distance of 230 km on a bicycle.

Sunil Ahire, Umakant Diggikar, Vishal Patil, Sandeep Amle, Abhimanyu Gade, Nitin Dedge, Prashant Gawli, Mahesh Karande, Santosh Shinde, Rahul Sangde from Pune Municipal Corporation will participate in this initiative.

The rally was inaugurated by the Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar and Additional Municipal Commissioner (H) Ravindra Binwade, Additional Municipal Commissioner (E) Dr Kunal Khemnar today at 5 pm at Pune Municipal Corporation’s Main Building.

On the occasion of this program, good wishes were given to the participating employees of Pune Municipal Corporation by showing the flag.

Deputy Commissioner Madhav Jagtap, Mahesh Doiphode, Legal Officer Nisha Chavan, Superintendent of Engineers Aniruddha Pawaskar and other officers and staff were present in large numbers for the event whereas the event was hosted by Suresh Pardeshi.
