Police Bust Racket Involving Duplication Of Branded Products In Pune
Pune 10th July 2023: The Crime Branch Unit of Pune City Police has busted a racket involving duplication of branded products including tonner, cartridge, outer box, ink bottle, hologram and toys. The accused were running a racket from multiple shops located across the city.
According to police, the accused were making duplicate toys and study material of Disney company and were selling them as branded from three shops namely Trupti Traders, Prem Toys and Ganesh Traders located in the Ravivar Peth area.
Similarly, the accused were duplicating tonner cartridge, ink bottles, holgram etc. products of Samsung, Canon companies and were selling them in the market through shops located in Shukrawar Peth as branded products.
The police team after getting inputs about the offense, raided multiple locations in the city and seized material worth Rs 28 lakh.
Two seperate cases in this regard have been registered at Faraskhana Police Station and Khadk Police Station under relevant sections and police are investigating further in the matter.
