Pune: Ajit Pawar Will Win Assembly Election From Baramati Constituency, Says Rohit Pawar
Pune 10th July 2023: Sharad Pawar’s grand nephew and Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Karjat-Jamkhed constituency Rohit Pawar on Monday said that Ajit Pawar will win the state assembly election from Baramati constituency and Parth Pawar will not contest the Lok Sabha election against senior Pawar’s daughter Supriya Sule.
Speaking to reporters in Pune Rohit said, “Even if I am asked I will not contest the election against Ajit Pawar from Baramati. Due to Pawar Saahab’s vision and the work done by Ajit Dada people will only vote Ajit Pawar in Baramati. People are not happy but I am very confident that when election comes they will only caste their votes to Ajit Pawar.”
“Anybody can come and campaign as much as needed but people of Baramati Lok Sabha constituency are smart and they will vote for the right candidate” he added.
Rohit further said that Ajit Pawar’s son Parth will not contest the Lok Sabha election against Supriya Sule from Baramati because Ajit Pawar will never take a different stand when it comes to family. Parth Pawar had contested the Lok Sabha election from Maval constituency and was defeated by Shivsena’s Shrirang Barne.
Rohit Pawar is one of the few MLAs who are supporting Sharad Pawar at a time when many MLAs have switched their sides to join Ajit Pawar faction.
