Protest Organised Against Farm Laws Outside Pune Collector Office

Pune, 26 February 2021: Republican Party of India (I), Sharad Joshi Vicharmanch Shetkari Sanghatana Maharashtra, Rashtriya Kisan Sanghatana, Bharatiya Rashtriya Manavadhikar Party along with 63 organizations organised a protest in support of farmers and against three farm laws on Friday at Pune District Collectorate. The protest was organized by the district executive committee of the Republican Party of India (I).

During the protest, the laws were burnt as a public protest.

The main demands of this protest were:
1) To repeal agricultural laws.
2) To repeal CAA, N.R.C.
3) Repeal anti-constitutional labour laws and educational policy.
4)The Central Government should stop selling all public sector companies as well as Railways, Banks, Petroleum Companies, LIC, BSNL, Airlines, Coal Mining and many other government industries.

5) To reduce prices of petrol, diesel, gas and light bills.

In the said protest Satish Gaikwad, National President, RPI(I), Adv Tosif Shaikh, National General Secretary, RPI(I), Vitthal Pawar Raje, State President and National Convener, President of Lion Group of Maharashtra Avaiz Tazim Ahmed, IT Sheikh, President, Pune District, Indian National Human Rights Party, Sabir Bhai Sayyed, President, Pune City, Indian National Human Rights Party, Abhimanyu Suryavanshi, President, Sports Department, Maharashtra, RPI(I), Adv Suraj Jadhav, Maharashtra General Secretary, RPI(I), Swarajya Rashtra Nirman Sena, Sham Gaikwad (President – Bhim Chhawa Sanghatana), Satish Kale, Sambhaji Brigade, Pune, Sharad Gaikwad (President – Kabir Vichar Manch), Vijay Jagtap (President – Mass Movement), Sunil Dhende (Social Worker), Ambadas Kamble (President – Empire Organization), Rafiq Sheikh (General Secretary – Azad Sena Pune City), Dashrath Shetty (President – Manav Aadhar Social Organization), Sunil Chavan (Social Worker), Siddharth Waghmare (Social Worker), Mangesh Kamble (Social Worker), A. Sonwane (Boxing Coach), R.B. Jagtap, President, Pune District, RPI (Secular) and others were present.
